With heavy hearts. we announce the passing of Donna Pattricia Brookes, affectionately known as "Tricia," of Browne's Avenue, who peacefully transitioned on Monday, 1st June 2026.

Tricia was the beloved daughter of Bernadine Valentine and Rupert Brookes, both deceased.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Jason Matthew and Vaskie Isaac of Browne's Avenue; her grandchildren, Jarique and Jasonia Matthew, and Shevania and Keniyah Isaac.

She is survived by her siblings: Maxine Miller, St. Clair Williams, Donelle John, Claudette, Sandra, Seymour Brookes, Valery Brookes of the United States, Patrick Brookes of the US Virgin Islands, and their families.

She leaves to mourn her aunt, Irose Lake of Browne's Avenue, and remembers Marilyn Thomas and Georgette James, who preceded her in death.

Her uncles Jean James and David Valentine survive her, while Murphy James preceded her in death.

Tricia will be fondly remembered by her nieces and their families, Jackiesha and Vashti Williams, Myra Henry, Shelia and Samantha John, Taj and Tabi Phillip, and Ciara Joseph; her nephews Akeem, Raheem and Kevan Matthias, Stephen Williams, and Mandel Miller, and their families.

****Many great-nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention, also mourn her passing.

She is survived by her cousins Andy, Arthur Jr., Jamie and AnnMarie Lake; Valencia Rhibbs; Charmaine Luke-Auguste; Corlett Morris; Angenick Thomas; Josette Joseph of the United States; Debbie Etienne of US Virgin Islands; Shelby and Philmore James, Kenroy Joseph, Latoya Sealy, Mary Prince and all their families. She is preceded in death by her cousins Devon ‘Sammy’ Joseph, Shawn Lake and Tiffany Davis.

She leaves to mourn her dear friends Denise Carr, Dave Peters, Dawn and Jolo Dyer, Janice Dyer, Judy Henry, Isla Lewis, Joan Peters, Euroy Peters, Cicely, Shadow, Suky, Sandy, Dawn, and their families.

Tricia will be lovingly remembered by the members of the Browne's Avenue Community.

The Celebration of Life for Donna Pattricia Brookes will be held at Kentish Pentecostal Church, Armstrong Road, Gray’s Farm, on Thursday, 2nd July 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing begins at 130pm. Her final resting place will be the Tranquillity Park Cemetery.

The family of Donna Pattricia Brookes expresses their sincere gratitude for the love, prayers, kindness, and support during this time of bereavement. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
