It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosalie Estella Benjamin also known as “Sukie” of New Winthorpes Village, Antigua.
Rosalie transitioned on August 18th, 2026, at the blessed age of 90.
She was the daughter of the late Edith Lyne Benjamin and John “Doucou” Benjamin of New Winthorpes.
Rosalie leaves to cherish her memory her five children: Iola Knowles, Anna-Marie Martin , Viviana Martin , Roselyn Martin, and Ernestine Martin-Skepple.
She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 adopted grandchildren, who will continue to carry her memory and the love she shared with them.
She is survived by her sisters Ursula Williams and Evelyn Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her sisters Eunice Jonas, Iola Stevens, Ivy Benjamin, Jean Benjamin, and Wilma Murraine, and her brother Desmond Benjamin.
Also mourning her loss are her many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
Rosalie will also be deeply missed by her many dear friends and members of her wider community.
Rosalie leaves behind a legacy of family, friendship, love, and memories that will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
May her soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
